This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of OneLobby Social Media Inc. ("OneLobby", "we" or "us") on the collection, use and disclosure of your information on www.onelobby.ca (the "Site") and the services, applications, and other features or functionality available on or through the Site (collectively, the "Services"). OneLobby receives information about you from various sources, including through your user account/profile with OneLobby, your use of the Services, and from various third party websites and other services. When you use any of the Services, you are consenting to the collection, transfer, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any terms in this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Sites or Services.
OneLobby collects personal identifiable information ("Personal Information") when you create an account, access the Site and/or use the Services. Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties, and their sites, services or applications that OneLobby does not control (see further Third Party Sites below)
OneLobby developed the Services for users to improve collaboration and communication with all stakeholders involved with the planning & execution of their event. We understand that privacy is important to our online visitors and registered users. We respect your privacy and use commercially reasonable efforts to store and maintain your Personal Information in a secure environment.
If you register for our Services, you will be prompted to provide certain Personal Information, such as your name, mailing address, email address & phone number. We will store and use this information to identify you and provide access to parts of the Services that require user authentication. We may use your contact information to inform you of changes & updates to our Services and to provide news and information we think will be of interest to you. If you wish to be removed from any updates or notifications, please email us at customerservice@onelobby.com. Please note that You cannot opt out of all communications from OneLobby (eg. important notifications about the Services or this Policy) unless you terminate your account and cease use of the Services (see further: Deleting Your Account).
We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail and may communicate directly with them. We may request personal email information for use of our Services to push email notifications from our Platform. Similarly OneLobby may also request additional personal phone information if you wish to use the features of the Services that enable you to forward incoming phone calls, voice messages & text messages, from the OneLobby generated phone number.
In order to provide improved user experience, OneLobby will aggregate information on what pages of the Site visitors and users access or visit, the location of such visits and frequently. The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web pages and the quality of our Services, marketing and sales, and no Personal Information is shared with or sold to other organizations. However, we may provide anonymized, aggregate information (such as statistics), to our partners for use and analysis about how our customers collectively use the Site. We may also share this non-private, aggregate information to other Third Parties including; advertisers, service providers, and other persons we conduct business with. Conversely these other Third Party providers may share with us non-personal, aggregate data they’ve independently developed about you through use of their services.
OneLobby uses one or more third-party payment processors in order to collect payments and payment information from you for our Services. Such information may include; names, addresses, the last four digits of your credit card number, and other card related information. This information is used solely to collect and provide payments related to the Services used through your account, and is only stored by OneLobby’s third-party payment processors. You should review the terms of service and privacy policies of those payment providers who will have access to your full credit card information.
Personal Information about our users is an integral part of our business, but we will neither rent, nor sell your Personal Information to anyone. We will not use your Personal Information for purposes not described in this Privacy Policy without your consent.
Important Exceptions: We may disclose your Personal Information to third parties without your consent if we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property, other Website members, other users of the Services, or anyone else (including the rights or property of anyone else) that could be harmed by such activities. We may disclose Personal Information when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is required by and in accordance with the law.
From time to time we may employ third parties to help us improve the Site and/or the Services. Advertisers disclaimer: We do not share any personal information with advertisers without your consent. We may allow advertisers to choose the demographics of users who will see their advertisements and we may use any non-personal identifiable attributes collected to select the appropriate target audience for those advertisements.
We take technical, contractual, administrative, and physical security steps designed to protect Personal Information that you provide to us. Your OneLobby User Account Personal Information is also protected by a password for your privacy and security. It is your responsibility to prevent unauthorized access to your account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account.
OneLobby will take reasonable steps to ensure that your user account private information is kept private, although we cannot guarantee the security of user account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of information at anytime. We may store your Personal Information in locations outside the direct control of OneLobby, for instance, on servers or databases co-located with hosting providers.
The Services may contain links to other websites and Third Party Services, for which OneLobby is not held responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other websites. When connecting to another website, you should familiarize yourself with their privacy policy. This Privacy Policy only governs information collected by OneLobby on the Site and the Services on the OneLobby Platform.
The Services are not aimed towards minors and OneLobby does not solicit or collect Personal Information targeted at children and teenagers under thirteen and does not permit use of the Site and/or the Services unless you are an adult or are over the age of 13 and have parental authorization to sign up for the Services, and to share information with Users through the Website.
You can access any Personal Information that you provide to OneLobby, through your account settings. You will be able to modify most of the information you provide to us, either through the Services or through contact with our customer support representatives, except for information relating to transactions you have participated in through OneLobby that have already taken place.
We reserve the right, in our sole and absolute direction, to make changes to this Policy from time to time. Please review this Policy periodically to check for updates. If any changes are material and/or retroactive, we will provide additional notice and/or an opportunity to opt to stop receiving the Services and terminate your access of the Site if you do not agree with the changes to our Policy.
OneLobby will provide you with disclosures and alerts regarding this Policy by posting them on our Website and/or by emailing the email address listed in your Registered Account. You agree that electronic disclosures and notices have the same meaning and effect as if we had provided you with a paper copy. Such disclosures and notices in relation to this Policy shall be considered, to be received by you within 24 hours of the time if was posted to our Website or emailed to you. Users are bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy if continuing to use the Services 10 days after such changes have first been posted.
Should you ever decide to delete your OneLobby account, you may do so by contacting us at CustomerService@onelobby.com, or by clicking on the "Delete your Account" link on your account settings page. Please note that OneLobby will need to verify that you have the authorization to delete the account, and some information may remain in our records after the deletion of your account. If you decide to terminate your account, your profile will be removed from the site and deleted from OneLobby’s servers. Note that such deletion may not be immediate, and residual copies of your profile information or posts may remain on backup media. Even after your account is terminated, OneLobby may retain and use certain data contributed by you, such as your transaction history indefinitely.
